Music composer A R Rahman on Monday became the first Indian to win a Golden Globe award and is already looking forward to bagging an Oscar for his soundtrack for British filmmaker Danny Boyle's "Slumdog Milloinaire".
“Slumdog Millionaire” is considered to be one of the feel good films of the year and A.R. Rahman bagged the Golden Globe award for Best Original Score of the film. Rahman is privileged to be the first Indian to get awarded by the Golden Globes that is considered to be a road to Oscars.The film tells the story of a slum kid who participates in popular reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (Who Wants to be a Millionaire?) and wins Rs 2 crore in a bid to win his love interest back.Slumdog is based on a novel by Indian diplomat Vikash Swarup and stars Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan in lead among others.AR Rehman - A Rocking Legend who would bring Oscar to India.
