Shilpa buys 12% stake in Rajasthan Royals
After Bollywood superstars Preity Zinta and Shah Rukh Khan, actress Shilpa Shetty joined the Twenty20 extravaganza in India, as she invested in the Indian Premier League (IPL) champion side Rajasthan Royals.Shilpa Shetty adds another notch on her nearly worn-out belt. She has now gone the Preity Zinta way; and has bought a big stake in Rajasthan Royals alongwith businessman beau Raj Kundra.During the first season of the IPL, Shilpa Shetty was seen cheering for Vijay Mallya's Bangalore Royal Challengers. However, the actor will now be seen backing the champion side in the second season.IPL is already a star-studded affair with filmstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Juhi Chawla being team owners. While Khan and Chawla own Kolkata Knight Riders, Zinta and her boyfriend Ness Wadia own Kings XI Punjab. But now, Shilpa's association will certainly add some glam quotient to the champions in season two.
