Actress Trisha is going to start her debut hindi film with Akshay Kumar starrer "Khatta Meetha". Director Priyadarshan is launching this awesome and beauty actress in this new Hindi flick. The role featuring by Trisha will be more challenging compared to other heroines in the Priyadarshan's film. She is playing two characters in different time periods.

Khatta Meetha is a family entertainer and Trisha is playing a substantial role.Trisha Krishnan is eyeing Bollywood and has placed her full confidence in director Priyadarshan who is also her mentor. It was Priyadarshan who launched Trisha’s career down south with the film ‘Leysa Leysa’ a decade ago.

The former Miss Chennai feel happy with her debut with Akshay. Moreover, she has signed on the dotted lines for two more Hindi movies to be made by the Akshay’s production house, Hari Om Productions.
