After being titled as Sexiest man alive by People Magazine for the second time on Wednesday, Johnny Depp joining an elite club of double honorees of George Clooney and Brad Pitt. Depp's recent roles include 1930s gangster John Dillinger in "Public Enemies" and the murderous London barber "Sweeney Todd". His next screen role is as the Mad Hatter in director Tim Burton's adaptation of "Alice in Wonderland" which is due for release in March 2010.

"Whether it's onscreen in roles like Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise or at home with his family on their private Bahamian island, the 46-year-old father of two with 25 years in show business still reigns as Hollywood's most irresistible iconoclast," the magazine quoted.Matt Bomer, star of the new USA TV series "White Collar" was named sexiest rising star.
