Tata Consultancy Services, largest IT services provider in India, has received a deal from Volkswagen Group UK. TCS would provide IT services and transformation to this group for next five years.

TCS will provide its Global Network Delivery Model in order to supply with both Onshore and offshore IT support services. These include Volkswagen Group's operations all through UK and across the brands including Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

TCS will also assist the group in its business transformation programme to meet up volkswagen's aim to sell more cars , parts and cut costs. The Volkswagen group is a entirely-owned subordinate of Volkswagen AG, Europe’s biggest automobile producer based in Germany.This is the first time Volkswagen has carried out an onshore-offshore model for its IT systems.
