Scarlett Johansson is being considered for playing the role of Marilyn Monroe in “My Week With Marilyn”. This must a big step forward for this twenty four year old actress.Director Simon Curtis and producer David Parfitt have Kate Hudson, Amy Adams and Michelle Williams in their mind for the role of Marilyn.

The movie is based upon the diary of Colin Clark, an employee of Laurence Olivier.He was the care taker of Marilyn Monroe, when she reached London to film the helmer’s ‘The Prince and the Showgirl’ in 1957.

The actress cum singer Scarlett Johansson came to fame after her role in 1998's The Horse Whisperer film and subsequently gained critical acclaim for her roles in Ghost World, Lost in Translation. She bagged a BAFTA Award, and Girl with a Pearl Earring, the latter two earning her Golden Globe Award nominations in 2003.

The extract of the diary were published in 1958 but Clarke had disclosed his writing of one particular week, until it was finally released after his death in 2002.The secret notes will now form the plot of the film.
